The ASI 0751-A Heavy Duty Robe Hook is a special option designed for use in facilities that must fully comply with ADA and other barrier-free accessibility guidelines. Due to its heavy-duty construction, the hook can withstand up to 300 pounds of force in a directly downward pull when properly installed. To ensure full compliance, the hook must be installed 54 inches from the floor for side reach access and 48 inches from the floor for forward reach access. Crafted from chrome-plated brass, the hook projects from the mounting surface by 3-1/4 inches. The end of the hook measures 1-1/2 inches in height, ensuring that it is of adequate size to securely hold robes, coats handbags and other items. The robe hook mounts with three, No. 10 self-tapping screws, which are not included. Once installed, the three, 7/32" diameter countersunk holes in the flange and the mounting hardware remain completely exposed for quick access whenever necessary.
